Once students begin reading, as the teacher, you can view their activity, including what books they have been reading, how long they have been reading for, and can even assign books to a student through your teacher account. They should enter the class code listed on your teacher profile in the “Student Sign In” section. Once you have created student profiles, invite your students to register for your class. By selecting “Add Students”, teachers can add students individually, or add a class through using “Add Roster” or “Import Google Classroom”. Be sure to select an appropriate age for your students, as reading materials highlighted for students will be age dependant. If you do not add students to a class, students will not have their own individual bookshelf of reading materials. Once teachers have created an account, they have to populate their classlist with their students. Teachers should register to create a teacher account and then they can populate their own classroom and give students their class code to join a class. Students require a class login to access Epic. Both fiction and non-fiction books are available. Epic Books are targeted for students ages 2 – 12, however there are general interest books, comics and novels that may be appropriate for older students.Įpic Books had a variety of formats of books available, including books, videos, read-to-me books and audiobooks. Epic Books is a virtual library of thousands of free books available within the Epic Books App.
